Artist statement
As a VisDev artist and Character Animator I get to both create the worlds you see on the screen as well as help them come to life. Chatting and sparring with other creators and seeing just how we can make this idea of theirs translate from mind to screen is something that'll never fail to excite me. No two projects look the same and honestly? I'm just happy to be a part of it, and provide work where I can still mess around a bit.
Ambitions
In 5 years I hope to have been a part of as many different projects as possible. As a designer I like to change things up, help wherever I can, and adding more skills to my belt as I go. Over the past few years I've both talked about- and listened to a lot of cool project ideas, so I hope to realize some of these in the next few years as well.
Learned during the studies
I think the most important thing I learned is to just have fun. Projects and assignments seem big and scary, and they kinda are, but finding the fun in it all helps keep you going. Rules are important to know but also made to be broken. Sometimes that means you'll mess up, and so be it. Learn and move on.
I used to be very preoccupied with what I "should" do, over the past four years I've learned to let go of that and just enjoy making stuff.
